Monument Engraving

Every detail of your story deserves to last for generations. Let our expert memorial designers with over 65 years of stone carving experience preserve your story today.

At Riley-Gardner Memorial we carry the highest quality granite and marble in the industry. All of the monuments that we carry have proven to withstand the outdoor elements and therefore meet our one-of-a-kind guarantee.

Laser Design

Riley-Gardner Memorial has been producing our own laser designed monuments since 2004. Before a lasered monument is created, an image must be input or designed in our computer program. This is a very tedious and time intensive process; however, once our artists have created an image, we can duplicate it as many times as needed. The most common color used for laser etching is Premium Black. Premium Black produces the cleanest laser photos and designs one can find. Other colors, such as Catseye Red and Dark Cloud, have proven to work well with laser; those colors show laser artwork very nicely but are not recommended for laser photos. Laser monuments are becoming more and more common in cemeteries. One question often asked is, “How long will the laser design last?” Laser, like sandblast, puts a break in the polish and exposes the raw stone beneath. The laser heats the stone and removes the polish where sandblast cuts into the stone therefore removing the polish. Unless the monument loses its polish or is re-polished the laser design will last for many years to come.

One of the benefits of buying a monument from Riley-Gardner Memorial is installation.  All installation of new monuments is included in our pricing and our foundation work is guaranteed for 10 years.  Riley-Gardner Memorial has 5 total installation crews that install our families’ monuments throughout Texas and Oklahoma.

Ninety percent of the monuments we sell are kept in stock in our large warehouse and will take 60-90 days from approval, to production, to installation. Some custom monuments, in standard non-premium colors which are not in stock, could take up to 90 – 120 days. Custom sculptured monuments as well as custom premium colors will take 6 – 9 months from order to installation.

Riley-Gardner Memorial is responsible for your monument from first contact to up to ten years from the time of purchase.  Riley-Gardner Memorial prides itself in taking care of our families and customers.

Riley-Gardner Memorial is a fourth generation, family owned, and operated business.  Many of our expert craftsman are family members of craftsman from past generations.  Family heritage and values have been close to our heart for many years as we strive to take care of our families with care and dignity throughout the memorialization process.

This is not normally a problem.  Our standard order takes between sixty to ninety days to complete from approval to installation.  This normally will allow enough time.  If the monument becomes unleveled at any time within ten years we will come out and re-level it at no charge.

We have sold many cremation monuments to families over the past few years.  Our belief is that it is important to memorialize a loved one, as it offers a location for family and friends to go and honor the deceased.  Memorialization has been shown to help families with closure when there is a loss of a loved one.  Memorialization also allows future generations the opportunity to find information about their ancestors.

Yes we can.  Our artist are very skilled in monument duplication and have the tools and experience to duplicate your design.  Once the design has been duplicated we will be able to replicate the design for years to come.

Granite is the hardest most durable product used for memorials.  Granite does not deteriorate with time.  Other materials such as marble can be used for memorials but is softer and can pick up stain and wear faster than granite.

They put someone else’s picture on my husband and I’d monument, so far it’s been 3 weeks and they still haven’t corrected their screw up! Do it when we have someone coming that way! I live in Lone Grove, OK and ordered from B&M monuments here! This is not their fault it lies with Riley Gardners monument makers, either in Hamilton or Wichita Falls, TX! There is no excuse for this and then to take weeks to correct is wrong! I lost my husband in December, so this is very devastating for me and our families! Be there when they set it to make sure it doesn’t happen to you! You have no idea how hurtful this is! I want to apologize to Riley Gardner because it was not their fault it was the people that fix the pictures they put the wrong names on the back. Our marker is gorgeous and I thank them for taking the time to find out how this happened.
